This is a sturdy hitch that is very quick to install. Just loosen the rear skewer or axle nut and slip the hitch around the axle on the inside and outside of the dropout and retighten the skewer or axle nut. This is the standard hitch and works well for shopping and general use, but if you plan to abuse the trailer as I have with very heavy loads, you will find this hitch will swivel on the axle and eventually loosen the skewer or nut. Not a good thing.
They have thought of everything including the handy liitle notch cut-out on the top of the hitch to allow you to mount the hitch while using a rear rack. Very nifty.
