I do not know how you could possibly break these wheels(other than running over them with a truck), as they are made from a tough plastic composite. While, I think they are perfectly ugly, they will not rust, corrode, bend, or go out of true. These wheels are virtually indestructible, thus perfect for standing up daily use and abuse.
Precision sealed bearings are fitted to a massive stainless steel shaft. I always get very suspicious when I hear the word "precision" used, but there is virtually no drag on these wheels when installed properly. Very smooth.
As you can see again the attention to detail is displayed by using a custom made long stem tube for easier tyre maintenance. And while the tyres are not flash, superlight, or have the word "kevlar" attached to them, I ran them at maximum pressure of 35psi and majorly overloaded without a leak or flat. Not bad.
After a year of absolute abuse, including the time I hauled about 100Kg's for about 20+ km, there was very slight play in the bearings which can be adjusted out, but I was too lazy to do it. I think it is fair to say that you would have to work very hard to wear out this trailer!
